What is DMX – Digital Motion X-Rays?
Digital Motion X-ray, or DMX, is not the same as Digital X-ray. DMX provides an x-ray movie of your spine.
DMX uses cutting-edge x-ray technology to show your spine in motion to detect serious injuries that are missed with MRI, CT, and standard x-rays alone.
Following a trauma, anywhere between 4 to 11 neck x-rays may be needed to determine the source of your pain and dysfunction. DMX can capture all of these images with significantly more information with approximately 3 minutes of exposure. And for comparison, 1 standard x-ray is equivalent to 1 minute of exposure on DMX.
DMX helps to find evidence of injuries that are only present when you move. If pain increases with movement, your injuries should be looked at while moving.
